Above is a very different reception counter installed at Thomosons Real Estate in Carnegie.  The counter is constructed from solid timber and plywood, and contains no mdf, veneered board, or laminates. The counter face is decorated with marine ply, stained Vicorian Ash and Jarrah lining along the bottom half.  The top counter surface is solid stained ash.

The picture above shows the worksurface and environment behind the receoption counter.  The worksurface is stained ply, trimmed with stained ash.  Power points are located below the counter, while a wire cable basket holds all the power cords neatly off the floor. Note the metal strip running along the top of the counter vertical face, to allow phone lists etc to be magnetically held in place for easy viewing and updating. I hope you like it!

The key cupboard above compliments the recetpion desk.  It is lockable, and has clean lines so as not to take from the counter.

The bench seating above was designed to provide comfortable non-upholstered seating.  The decorated end panels were made to match the counter.  The frame is solid Victoraian Ash and is fully joined to provide maximum durability.
